“Rafael” comes from “Raphael, the Angel.” In the Philippines, it is common to be called “Raffy.” Close friends shout “Paeng,” good enough because of the world reknowned bowling champion, Paeng Nepomuceno. In Grade School, a few called me “Gibson” because I owned one of the few, original Gibson Jumbo Folk acoustic guitar. Senior high school, my CB name was ”Starfleet,” an obvious description of being a Trekkie! At night, women friends call me “Ruffa,” a pun to mean I morph into a girl (LOL!) … and so goes my name of many names …

Summary

I’m an advocate of small businesses, cloud solutions and social media for the workplace, helping small groups, teams, and organizations set up, grow and be competitive. I worked for several call center companies and on-demand, hosted call center solutions providers over the past decade. I also run an online job board that assists search and staffing companies.

I am also a trainer and consultant for small business success for cloud and customer contact solutions, and social media, bringing my 26 years of formal and informal workplace experience to bridge the gap between traditional ways of doing business and today’s multimedia means of selling, marketing, operating, service, supporting and developing brands and the business.

The Personal Side

They say Scorpios are “Hopeless Romantics.” Close friends would actually add “Insanely” or “Psychotically”. My response? I love my kids that much! Life is what you make of it, even if some of its events aren’t in your control. I’ve been a survivor, always aspiring for the “Goose that lays the golden egg” and “Somewhere over the rainbow”–heaven & earth combined. It’s not about money; it’s about life! It allows you to inquisitively ponder each moment and “Think!” As my fave author Napoleon Hill would say, “Think and Grow Rich!” A devout Catholic–not that I revel in every day’s Sainthood but no matter how I get close to other faiths, I still cling-on. Klingon–now that’s a great series & movie (just guess!)
